Suzanne Kammin Baron was born in New York City and grew up in Manhattan and in Toronto, Canada. She studied art at the Rhode Island School of Design, the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland, the University of British Columbia and the San Francisco Art Institute. She received her BFA in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute. She currently works in Manhattan where she also lives with her husband, painter Andrew Baron and teaches painting and drawing at Parsons School of Design.
